The Face behind phantom

With years of experience, professional experience, and coaching the next generation to higher levels of skill and efficiency in their training, we have the know-how and grit to get you in the best shape possible no matter what you are training for!

With over 8 years of dedicated coaching experience, Paige Te’o brings a lifelong passion for the game of sports and competition. As a former D1 Forward for Southern Utah University and 2014 NSCAA All American Athlete, Coach Te’o understands firsthand the commitment and drive required for success at high levels. 

Specializing as a Professional Speed Coach and Performance Enhancement Specialist, Coach Te’o has collected her decades of knowledge, experience, and passions into Phantom Athlete. Coach Te’o specializes in optimizing speed, power, and injury prevention tactics that have consistently yielded unbelievable results for hundreds of her athletes– empowering Phantom Athletes to play long, successful careers and develop as people beyond the field or court.

To take an athlete to the next level, it will require a combination of tailored training programs, consistent training and practices, and professional coaching. Emphasizing skill development, physical conditioning, and mental toughness is crucial to level up. Having a coach to mentor, track performance progress and setting specific, measurable goals alongside your athlete will help track your athlete and assure their progress towards their goals

Here at Phantom Athlete, we only train in small groups aside from private trainings.

Our small group training and exceptional coaches offer personalized attention while fostering a competitive group environment. It allows for individualized feedback and intentional mentorship– which sets us apart from other training programs and facilities. Additionally, the group dynamic encourages camaraderie and accountability, making training sessions more engaging and effective especially for team sport athletes.

Athletes and members within PHantom Athlete are able to communicate with coaches and staff via the Wodify App.

YES! This is critical for long term success. athletes should continue training during their season, but the focus and intensity should be adjusted to complement their competition schedule. In-season training aims to maintain peak physical conditions, prevent injuries, increase mobility, and refine skills without causing excessive fatigue. It's important for your coach to incorporate strategic workouts that support recovery and ensure peak performance during games or competitions. Balancing training with adequate rest and recovery is crucial for sustained performance and injury prevention..

During the off-season, an athlete should  responsibly train 4-5 times per week.  Exact schedules can vary based on an athlete’s sport level, history, and individual needs.

We recommend the youth athlete to  begin training around the age of 8 years old, where they may develop a solid foundation of athletic skills, mobility, coordination, and tendon strengthening to support their growing muscles and body.  By the ages of 10-12 years old, athletes are mature enough to handle more structured and intensive training while still having ample time to develop strength, speed, agility, and sport-specific skills. Early introduction to performance training helps in fostering long-term success, productive habits, and injury

No, performance training does not only benefit physical performance. It also improves mental toughness, focus, and confidence, which are critical for competitive sports. Furthermore, it can enhance an athlete's understanding of their sport, improve strategic thinking, and foster discipline and resilience, all of which contribute to better overall performance and success in their athletic career.

Yes, there is a 3 month minimum commitment for all membership athletes.  30 Day Notice of Cancellation is required. We also offer Session Punch Cards with no minimum commitment requirement.

Parents can help their athletes and their coaches best by maintaining open communication, supporting the athlete’s nutritional needs and ensuring rest and recovery, and ensuring the athlete adheres to their training schedule.

Athletes can best prepare by properly hydrating and fueling their body appropriately pre session.  At the start of each session, athlete’s will perform a dynamic warm-up and series of plyometric drills to activate muscles and joints. Mental preparation, such as setting specific goals for the session and visualizing success, can also enhance focus and readiness.
